Moontown is throwing its fourth annual Oktoberfest – a raucous celebration of the birthplace of dank beer, complete with live music, friendly competitions, the tapping of our Oktoberfest lager, and delicious German-inspired fare.

The 21 and up party will last all afternoon on Saturday, September 18th and will take over Moontown Brewing Company’s entire facility (brewpub, event space, and garden lawn). We’ll be tapping our Oktoberfest lager, “Follow the Lederhosen” at 3pm with discounted Moontown beer ($5/pint!), German-inspired menu items, and live music from 3:1 Band! There will be a German Costume Contest, Stein-holding Competition, attendance Raffle Prizes and more! Space is limited to ticketed guests only, so grab those tickets now – this will be a day you don’t want to miss.

ADMISSION RATES:

Each ticket will include admission, a free Oktoberfest t-shirt, one drink ticket and live music.

Early Bird: $25 (Limited quantities available through August 1st - August 18th or until it sells out)

General Admission: $30

Sober Driver: $12

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

2:00PM: Doors open -- Food and beverages available to purchase. We’ll have corn hole and bocce ball in the garden – free to play and open to all guests.

3:00PM: Welcome and official Oktoberfest beer tapping with head brewer, Cody Peczkowski and dank-meist, Bobby Mattingly. Enjoy the passing of das boot and let the party begin!

4:00PM: Costume Contest: Dust off your dirndl and loosen your lederhosen! We're giving away a $50 gift card and a commemorative stein to the best dressed Frau and Fräulein at the party. Open to all in attendance.

6:00PM: Stein Holding Competition: The ultimate feat of strength. Open to all who want to jump up and take their turn. The last standing man and last standing woman holding their steins will each win a dank prize (details coming soon!) + a whole year of bragging rights. You don’t want to miss this highlight of the day.

8:00 – 11:00PM: 3:1 brings down the house as they perform their dynamic and high-energy blend of music from the 60's and 70’s to conclude the festive evening.

All Moontown beers will be discounted to $5 for this one day only! Wine, liquor and non alcoholic beverages will also be available.

Please note that space is limited for this event. Moontown’s brewpub will be closed to the public this entire day, and entry will be limited to ticket holders only. There will be NO lunch service available in the brewpub prior to Oktoberfest’s 2pm start.
