Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

On his eleventh birthday, Harry Potter—an unloved orphan living with his cruel aunt and uncle—discovers a life-changing truth: he is a wizard. Not only that, but he is famous in the wizarding world for surviving a deadly attack by the dark lord, Voldemort, when he was just a baby.

Harry escapes his mundane life to attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. There, he quickly bonds with fellow students Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, learns the basics of magic, and discovers a talent for the aerial sport of Quidditch.

However, the wonder of his new life is soon threatened when Harry and his friends discover that a highly valuable, magical object—the Sorcerer's Stone, which grants immortality—is being hidden inside the school. Suspecting that someone is trying to steal it to return the weakened Voldemort to power, Harry, Ron, and Hermione must bypass a series of dangerous magical security traps to protect the stone and save the wizarding world.
