Post-mortem photography was a common part of 19th and early 20th century culture in America. The photographs are poignant, full of artistry, and served as a way to mourn and memorialize loved ones. Join Sierra Laddusaw, Curator of Maps & Graphics from the William L. Clements Library at the University of Michigan to learn more about post-mortem photography through the collections held at the William L. Clements Library.

Tickets are $10. Speaker Series is held in our Gothic Chapel, reached through our 34th Street Gothic Gate entrance at 3402 Blvd. Place, Indpls.
