Cornerstone Center for the Arts

Our mission at Cornerstone Center for the Arts is to engage the local community in creative expression, educational programs and to host events in a historic setting.

Cornerstone Center for the Arts

We create arts programming for all ages, host community events, and provide remarkable rental spaces for performances, proms, parties and private wedding receptions.

Cornerstone Center for the Arts evolved from the nonprofit organization, Muncie Center for the Arts that was created in 1998, In 2005 Muncie Center for the Arts merged with the Community Arts and Building Foundation, owner of the historic Masonic Temple, forming Cornerstone Center for the Arts. Our organizational focus is to provide access to the arts for all that leads to a quality of life and place for our community. Click here for a full history of Cornerstone including our founders.

Please browse our website to learn more about our quality, low-cost arts programs and our many historic venues available for you to host your next private or community event.

Cornerstone Center for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is governed by a 15-20 member Board of Directors. We sustain this historic building and provide affordable art education programming through funding sources of room rental fees, class and workshop fees, fundraising events, grants, and donors. Cornerstone does NOT receive any government or tax funds. All donations are appreciated and needed to sustain our mission. Donate today by clicking here.
